The PADI Rescue Diver course is conducted over two days. It is three days if taken with the EFR (Emergency First Responder) course. This is an intense class and one of the most rewarding. It is recommended to have your Advanced Open Water Certification prior to attending Rescue Diver, but it is not required. It is also recommended to take the EFR (Emergency First Responder) course prior to or in conjunction with the Rescue Diver course.
PADI Rescue Diver
This course will prepare you for the unexpected. You will learn how to be ready to respond to and deal with dive emergencies, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development with PADI eLearning and rescue exercises conducted at Lake Tenkiller with a PADI Instructor, you will learn what to look for and how to respond to dive emergencies.
You will practice multiple scenarios to put your knowledge and skills into action, such as:
Emergency First Responder (EFR)
Take this course prior to or in conjunction with the PADI Rescue Diver course. Emergency First Responder (EFR) offers simple to follow training for emergency care and focuses on building confidence in divers who are not otherwise professionally trained in medical care. This course is designed to increase your confidence and willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency.

- Secondary care (First Aid)
- Care for children
- CPR & AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
